Since cancelling our Summer Festival 2020, we were determined our loyal audience should be able to experience some of what we had planned. Our fantastic Artistic Director, Alissa Firsova, has worked tirelessly to secure videos from many of the artists who would have appeared in the Summer Festival, and we are extremely excited to announce our very first Virtual Summer Festival!

 

We will be showcasing a different artist at 7.30pm on each day of the festival, Tuesday 14 July - Saturday 18 July and at 3pm on Sunday 19 July. You can watch them on our Youtube channel here (make sure you click the red 'subscribe' button so you don't miss a thing). You will be able to watch each video on demand after they have premiered at 7.30pm.

 

We will announce a full line up and programme details early next week.

 

We have, of course, paid the artists who have submitted video content - at the moment many musicians are facing considerable uncertainty about when they can perform live and earn money again.

 

However, LICMF is a charity, and we rely on ticket income alongside the generosity of our Patrons and Friends to survive. With no income from selling tickets this summer, our finances have been affected.
