Following Yoanna Prodanova’s masterly performance of Bach’s 5th and 6th Cello Suites last year, she now teams up with the festival’s Artistic Director, Alissa Firsova, to showcase some of the cello’s most beautiful and inventive tunes. The highlight will be a special performance of Elgar’s beloved Cello Concerto in an arrangement (by Elgar himself) for cello and piano.
